Old World 1 (Acrylic on Canvas, 24×18)

Old World 1 is a new addition to the project I started years ago putting together a series of abstract (and not-so-abstract) paintings of old world architecture from travels around the world). It was completed  using only palette knife which exposed layers of under painting. As with the other artworks, the aim is to try to seize the mood of the place with hints and allusions.
